The History

     Knights of the Turntable began with the concept of giving the Tri-State Area a first class, Professional Disc Jockey Service. Knights of the Turntable was founded by Pete Grunberg and Mark Harrell and began business operations as a partnership in January 1991. The Business started with one system equipped with two Techniques Turntables, 1 CD Player and 1 Tape Deck. In December 1991 the second system was put out on the road with 1 Turntable, 2 CD Players and 1 Tape Deck and the first system was also transformed with similar equipment. In the first year we performed at 41 events. In May 1992, Knights of the Turntable officially became Incorporated and later that year the Turntables were officially retired and Knights of the Turntable no longer had Turntables! In January 1994, Pete bought Mark’s interest in Knights of the Turntable and Later that year the Third system was added in September 1994, then the fourth system in September 1995. In 1995 Knights of the Turntable performed at over 175 events and performed over 200 events in 1996. Today Knights of the Turntable is Hagerstown’s largest disc jockey service and not only does Knights of the Turntable serve the Hagerstown area but the entire Quad-State area and we continue to provide the personal service that has made us the area’s premiere disc jockey service. your occasion. For formal events tux or suit and tie, for casual events
we dress to your preference. Our disc jockeys always carry themselves
in a professional manner and are experienced emcees who can handle
all your introductions and announcements.

service. We use contracts for your peace of mind and assurance that
you will have entertainment the day of your event. We also make courtesy
calls 4 to 10 days prior to your event to confirm all the necessary details.

Knights of the Turntable offers a wide variety of music to suit
everyone's taste. We have from today's modern music to yesterdays
oldies, 50-60's, Top 40, dance, country, rock, and much more.

Knights of the Turntable offer total flexibility to work with you
and your plans, not against them. It is your event and we are there for
you. Our disc jockeys will work with you, your photographer, caterer,
and co-ordinator to assure a smooth, enjoyable and memorable day
for you and your guests.
